Laos: Vientiene and Luang Prabang

Laos is a bit off of the standard tourist track but should not be missed, especially for outdoor adventure. Prices are very low, and the infrastructure is improving, especially in those areas for tourists. Laos was devastatd by the Viet Nam war where over 260 millions bombs were dropped in 10 years. Thousands of unexploded bombs remains scattered all over the southern and eastern parts of the country.
