The Northern Neck of Virginia
The Northern Neck of Virginia sticks out like a thumb as it runs from Fredricksburg, Virginia down either Rt 17 or Rt 3 to the Norfolk and Virginia Beach area. An area of small towns, farms, two major rivers (the Potomac and the Rappahannock), it is a peaceful oasis only two hours (or 4 with traffic!) from the Washington DC metro area. These photos were taken mostly along the Weatherall Creek that flows out of the Potomac in Glebe Harbor, Virginia. Our close friends have a second home--Lucky Break--and kindly allow us to share their treasure. Enjoy!
