Pilgrims on the trek to the temple at Fort Ranthambhore. The Fort was built in 990 AD. Each Wednesday rural villagers trek 3 miles into the Reserve to visit ancient long abandoned temples. It was over 120 degrees at midday. Most people we met loved to have their picutures taken--except for the small children who seemed to be scared of our white faces.
